RDC Global Education
RDC on Global Education focuses on the international dimension in Teacher Education to build together the capacities needed for the 21st century.
Our aims are:
- To build a community of European and worldwide teacher educators and researchers to develop projects of global cooperation.
- To provide them with professional development opportunities for the enhancement of skills that facilitates the participation in international collaborative projects.
- To develop a dynamic/motivating platform for discussion related to the basic capacities needed for the 21st Century, as Knowledge Creativity, for example. We are working with Knowledge Building theories, based on a specific Knowledge Forum (KF) and videoconference meetings to promote dialogue among them and enable them to be part of a network, work cooperatively and learn from each other’s experience and authentic problems in teacher education.
- To participate at the development of the World Federation of Associations for Teacher Education.
