2015 ATEE Annual Conference - Teacher Education through Partnerships and Collaborative Learning Communities

The 40th ATEE Annual Conference focuses on Teacher Education through Partnerships and Collaborative Learning Communities and it aims to offer opportunities to exchange knowledge and ideas, stimulate discussion and encourage further joint activities and research in the following issues related to the conference theme:

- Teacher Education through collaborative partnerships

- Multiple and interconnected contexts for Teacher Education

- Collaborative learning communities

- Teachers' diverse professional learning needs and the implications for teacher educators

- Blended approaches to professional training

- Mentor support and challenge for teachers' professional learning

ATEE Award in Investigation for Junior Researchers

07 May 2015 - ATEE

This award is aimed at researchers involved in Teacher Education in college or university, public or private schools, or other educational agencies. For the purpose of this award, “junior researcher” is defined as someone who is currently in the process of writing his/her doctoral thesis or, in the case of being a Ph.D, has a maximum of three years of experience in the thematic fields of ATEE. The ATEE Award in Investigation for Junior Researchers has been established to recognize and encourage investigation in teacher education, to disseminate teacher education research on a European and international level, as well as to foster and reward investigation in the thematic fields of ATEE.

ATEE Award in Innovative use of ICT in Education

This award is aimed at primary and secondary schools that have recognized the importance of ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) in education, and have introduced ICT to an innovative educational project. The ATEE Award in Innovative use of ICT in Education has been established to recognize and encourage outstanding education programmes that have contributed in enhancing student learning by effectively and innovatively integrating technology supported learning into the school curriculum and subject teaching, and thereby promote enquiry-based cooperative and collaborative learning using ICT. This award also aims to recognise school’s contribution to overall quality of education in schools and the community.

ATEE Award in Investigation for Experienced Researchers

07 May 2015 - ATEE

This award is aimed at Ph.D experienced researchers involved in Teacher Education in college or university, public or private schools, or other educational agencies. For the purpose of this award, “experienced researcher” is defined as someone who has three or more years of experience as Ph.D in any of the thematic fields of ATEE (http://www.atee1.org/research_and_development_communities). The ATEE Award in Investigation for Experienced Researchers has been established to recognize and encourage investigation in teacher education, to disseminate teacher education research on a European and international level as well as to foster and reward investigation in the thematic fields of ATEE.
